- Serán alianzas de carácter multidisciplinario con todas las facultades de la universidad.
La UPLA con la finalidad de impulsar y promover trabajos de investigación, de servicio social y desarrollo integral en el campo de la salud, educación, medicina, ingeniería, derecho y ciencias administrativas y contables, en alianza con el Gobierno Regional de Junín, sostuvieron reuniones previas entre los equipos técnicos de la UPLA y el GRJ.
El Dr. José Manuel Castillo Custodio, Rector de la Universidad Peruana Los Andes se reunió ayer con el gobernador regional de Junín, Dr. Fernando Orihuela Rojas y su equipo técnico, con la finalidad de fortalecer los parámetros de un futuro convenio marco de cooperación interinstitucional entre el Gobierno Regional Junín y la UPLA.
“Impulsemos un convenio de apoyo mutuo entre la universidad y el gobierno regional para desarrollar iniciativas y proyectos que beneficie a la sociedad en general especialmente los de bajos recursos económicos”, sostuvo Orihuela Rojas al analizar de manera inicial la generación de becas para estudiantes de bajos recursos y facilitar medicamentos genéricos a la población en general con el apoyo de la UPLA.
Por su parte, el Rector Castillo Custodio, saludó la iniciativa regional y manifestó que las facultades de la universidad brindaran su capacidad académica y de investigación al servicio de la población, donde los mejores docentes y estudiantes trabajaran en objetivos conjuntos entre ambas instituciones.
La reunión de trabajo se realizó en el local central de la UPLA, en esta primera etapa se alistarán coordinaciones para canalizar apoyo a los jóvenes de bajos recursos con becas y semibecas, y también a través del sector salud y la Escuela de Farmacia y Bioquímica, se brindará medicamentos genéricos al alcance de la población.
