UPLA dispone bus universitario para el traslado de personal de salud durante emergencia sanitaria
La Universidad Peruana Los Andes (UPLA) puso un ómnibus con capacidad de 55 personas a disposición del hospital de Concepción Instituto Regional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas de la Región Junín, para ser utilizado en el transporte del personal médico, enfermeras y personal de otras disciplinas de salud pública durante la Emergencia Sanitaria contra la pandemia del Coronavirus COVID19, así lo dio a conocer el rector Dr. Eutimio Jara Rodríguez en coordinación con la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la UPLA.
El ómnibus que se pondrá a disposición a partir de hoy 27 de abril a solicitud del sector salud de la Región Junín, funcionará durante las madrugadas a partir de las 6 de la mañana, cuyo recorrido iniciará desde el Cuartel 9 de diciembre del Ejército Peruano hasta la ciudad de Concepción y hacia los distintos puntos establecidos para recoger al personal médico y de salud, y dirigirlos a los nosocomios correspondientes, siempre con el estricto cumplimiento del protocolo de seguridad sanitaria. Asimismo, el vehículo estará disponible para cualquier emergencia que se presente y que sea necesario su uso.
El Consejo Universitario y las autoridades universitarias: el Vicerrector Académico, Dr. Rubén Tapia Silguera y el Vicerrector de Investigación, Dr. Wilber Vásquez Vásquez y los decanos en su conjunto hacen votos para unir esfuerzos por la salud pública en la lucha frontal contra la pandemia del coronavirus Covid-19, por lo que toda acción en busca de un bien común, colinda con la responsabilidad social que siempre ha caracterizado a la UPLA, como es el alto espíritu solidario que caracteriza a nuestra Institución universitaria.
Dato: El Bus de la Universidad Peruana Los Andes, está al servicio de los grupos de estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud que realizan proyección social a la comunidad en general del valle del Mantaro.
