El proceso de licenciamiento institucional de la Universidad Privada Los Andes impulsó importantes mejoras en su gestión, así como en sus proyectos de investigación, infraestructura y equipamiento. Todo esto como parte de su compromiso de mejora continua y para beneficio de toda su comunidad universitaria.
En el rubro de investigación, la universidad ha incrementado de manera importante y sostenida su presupuesto asignado. De S/ 20,000.00 determinados en el 2016 ha pasado a S/ 3’027,807 en el 2019. Como parte de este esfuerzo, se implementó además nuevas bonificaciones destinadas a elevar la productividad de sus docentes investigadores y se generó un nuevo marco normativo. Como resultado, los proyectos vienen incrementándose durante este año.
En cuanto a su gestión, la UPLA ahora cuenta con versiones actualizadas del Plan Estratégico Institucional 2019 – 2023 y del Plan de Gestión de la Calidad 2019. Estos documentos establecen lineamientos que apuntan a la formación integral del estudiante, el fomento de la investigación y la calidad académica.
Crecimiento y sostenibilidad en el tiempo
Como parte del proceso de licenciamiento, la UPLA también presentó su Plan de Infraestructura 2019-2023. En este documento está prevista nuevas construcciones en dos locales. Entre ellas, un pabellón más de aulas en la filial Chanchamayo, la culminación de un ambiente exclusivo para los servicios de bienestar universitario y un auditorio de gran envergadura para todas las facultades en el campus de Chorrillos de Huancayo.
“A la fecha, la UPLA ha construido e implementado más laboratorios para derecho, educación, salud, medicina e ingeniería, por un monto de más de 30 millones de soles. Esto permite asegurar que nuestra sede central y filial ofrezcan las mismas condiciones de calidad en cuanto a infraestructura, equipamiento y mobiliario”, señaló.
