Durante la ceremonia de inicio del ciclo académico 2015-I. Las autoridades de la Facultad de Derecho y Ciencias Políticas de la Universidad Peruana Los Andes pusieron la primera piedra de lo que será en adelante el proyecto de la construcción del pabellón de la biblioteca, áreas administrativas y auditorio al servicio de los estudiantes y docentes de derecho.
La comunidad académica de Derecho invitó al Rector Dr. José Manuel Castillo Custodio a presidir la ceremonia, y quien junto al Dr. Casio Torres López, Vicerrector Administrativo explicaron los detalles de las futuras obras a construirse en el campus universitario de Chorrillos.
Más adelante, simbólicamente el rector, puso la primera piedra acompañado de estudiantes y docentes de la facultad de derecho; la algarabía fue visible a través del Dr. Juan Colombino Rojas Falcon Decano de la Facultad de Derecho, quien junto a su plana docente avizoraron modernidad y belleza arquitectónica de la primera Facultad de Derecho en Junín que este año cumple 32 años de trayectoria institucional.
