- En concurso presentaron trabajos de investigación por el “Día de la Medicina Peruana”
Las estudiantes del X ciclo de la Facultad de Medicina Humana de la Universidad Peruana Los Andes, Julia Isabel Orellana Castro y Lia Yoidet Oré Postillón fueron premiadas recientemente por el Colegio Médico del Perú Consejo Regional IV, después de un reñido concurso de investigaciones que se desarrolló a nivel de estudiantes de medicina en la Región Junín, todo ello con motivo del “Día de la Medicina Peruana”.
El jurado calificador conformado por los destacados médicos investigadores: Ciro Carhuallanqui, Raúl Montalvo y Frank Quispe, al final congratularon con el segundo lugar a la estudiante Julia Orellana Castro por el trabajo de investigación: “Coinfección múltiple: VIH PJP Tuberculosis, Hepatitis B y HTLV”.
En sus palabras la estudiante Julia Orellana Castro, indicó que se especializará en Medicina Tropical e Infecciosa, recordó además que estudió en el Colegio Ingeniería, y se inclinó por la medicina debido a la influencia familiar y por su abuela Estela; el premio se lo dedicó a su hermano y a sus padres vinculados a la salud pública.
El tercer lugar del concurso médico estudiantil fue para la estudiante Lia Yoidet Ore Postillón del X ciclo de Medicina UPLA con el trabajo: “Dermatitis infectiva asociada HTLV en un adulto”, quien estudió en el Colegio Secundario Presidente del Perú y manifestó que siempre le gustó la medicina, y en el futuro culminará la Especialidad de Radiología Intervencionista; el premió lo dedicó a sus padres quienes son educadores en la provincia de Chanchamayo.
Dato: el asesor de los proyectos de investigación es el docente médico infectólogo Jorge Luis Chumbes Pérez, docente de la UPLA. La premiación será en ceremonia cargo del colegio médico el viernes 05 de octubre del presente.
