Tutoría universitaria: el buen desempeño personal, académico y profesional
Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas y Contables de la UPLA capacitó a sus docentes-tutores
Durante la última semana, la Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas y Contables (FCAC) de la UPLA desarrolló la “Capacitación en acción tutorial para docentes-tutores de la FCAC”, actividad orientada en fortalecer su sistema de tutoría, y con ello, brindar un mayor soporte a sus estudiantes tanto para un buen desempeño académico, personal y profesional.
“Una alta calificación cuantitativa no significa que el universitario haya logrado las competencias que se buscan en ellos” mencionó la Mg. Marilú Uribe Hinostroza durante su disertación ante los 55 docentes-tutores que participaron de la charla. Así también, Uribe Hinostroza resaltó la importancia del rol que desempeñan quienes asumen esta labor “El propósito de los docentes-tutores es brindar los soportes necesarios a los estudiantes tanto cuando están en las aulas, como cuando egresen de ellas, para que sean capaces de enfrentar cualquier problema en su vida profesional”
Desde una mirada como participante de la capacitación, el Lic. Víctor Cárdenas Cosse opinó que, sí estuvo bien conocer más sobre este tema de forma teórica, es necesario se institucionalice esta labor en la UPLA, para que se designen horas específicas y reconocidas como tutoría, así también para que el docente cumpla y se prepare con el perfil de tutor.
Al respecto, la Mg. Judit Chávez Salinas, coordinadora de tutoría de la FCAC, señaló que están realizando todos los esfuerzos para lograr un sistema integral de tutoría en su facultad, partiendo desde actividades de capacitación como ésta, así como reuniones técnicas con los coordinadores de las escuelas profesionales de Administración y Sistemas y, Contabilidad y Finanzas “La tutoría universitaria es un indicador de calidad considerado por la SINEACE en el proceso de acreditación, cuya labor es el seguimiento del desempeño de nuestros estudiantes hasta egresados ”
